Dr. William G. Miller

Dr. William G. Miller, 76, of Worden, Illinois, passed away at 2:21 AM on Thursday, March 2, 2023 at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, Illinois.  He was born April 3, 1946 in Worden, Illinois, the son of the late George & Verna (Ursprung) Miller.  He married Wanda Smith on December 31, 1996 in Tampa, Florida & she survives. 

Bill had a long list of Educational Degrees -  He completed his AS in 1974,  BS in 1975,  MS in 1978,  ES in 1979,  & PhD in 1996.  He also completed his MBA Certificate from Washington University in 1986, Hypnotherapist in 1993,  & Mottio & Johnson Hypnosis Institute in 1993. 

Bill served his country in the U.S. Army, & was a member of First United Methodist Church of Worden, Staunton Masonic Lodge #177 AF & AM, & Shriner's of East St. Louis, Illinois.  He was employed by The Olin Corporation facility in Tampa, Florida as General Manager.

Besides his wife, Wanda, he is survived by three daughters -  Kimberly Spurling of Rockford, IL,  Stephanie (Pat) Welch of Worden, IL,  &  Stacey (Sam) Cadaret of Troy, IL;  five step children -  Richard Trimm of Alton, IL,  Brian Trimm of East Alton, IL,  Christina (Richard) Fedorchak of Maryville, IL,  Kenneth Orlandini of Worden, IL,  &  Stephen (Stephanie) Orlandini of Wood River, IL;  & numerous grandchildren & great grandchildren.

A "Celebration of Life" will be held a later date, with interment in Worden City Cemetery - Worden, Illinois.  Memorials are suggested to Shriner's Hospital in care of Williamson Funeral Home, 108 W. Henry St., Staunton, Illinois  62088.
