Douglas Albrecht Obituary

Douglas I. Albrecht, 64, of Collinsville, IL, passed away on Saturday, February 15, 2025 at Addington Place in Collinsville, IL. He was born September 16, 1960 in Wood River, IL, the son of the late Irvin W. & Patricia (Burger) Albrecht.

Doug was a factory worker at Man Power in Granite City, IL, & a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Collinsville, IL. He was also a volunteer at Our Lady of the Snows with their radio station in Belleville, & was an avid coin collector.

He is survived by a sister - Patrice (Manny Quintero) Shalenko of Maryville, IL; a niece - Ashley Dickhans of St. Peters, MO; & a nephew - Drew Steinwagner of Collinsville, IL.

Private graveside services will be held at Spangle Cemetery near Livingston, IL. Memorials are suggested to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
