Dorothy A. (Paul) Mancell

Dorothy A. Mancell, 89, of Staunton, IL, passed away at 4:05 AM on Tuesday, August 13, 2024 at Staunton Health & Rehab Center in Staunton, IL.  She was born March 21, 1935 in Litchfield, IL, the daughter of the late George & Frieda (Albrecht) Paul.  She married Donald Mancell on April 14, 1955 & he passed away on February 14, 2019.

Dorothy was employed as a Bank Manager in St. Louis, MO, & was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Staunton, IL.

She is survived by her daughter -  Debra (Paul) Barnes of Las Vegas, NV;  one brother -  Melvin (Carleen) Paul of Worden, IL;  two sisters -  Doris Keck of Troy, IL,  &  Helen Heck of Naperville, IL;  & several nieces & nephews also survive.

A joint Graveside Memorial Service for both Dorothy & Donald Mancell will be held on Dorothy's 90th birthday, March 21, 2025 at 11 AM at Memorial Park Cemetery in Staunton, IL, with Pastor Phil Girardin officiating.  The Staunton Military Honor Guard will conduct graveside military rites.
