Donald Stankus Sr.

Donald Stankus Sr., 84, of Worden, IL, passed away at 12:19 AM on Saturday, May 18, 2024 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO.  He was born July 19, 1939 in Chicago, IL, the son of the late Stanley & Helen (Butkus) Stankus.  

Don was a retired Banker, & also served in the U.S. Navy.  He was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church of Staunton, IL, & was also involved in Prison Ministry thru Catholic organizations & was associated with Hospice organizations.

He is survived by one daughter -  Kimberly (Brad) Ritchie of Edwardsville, IL;  one son -  Donald Stankus Jr. of Michigan;  three grandchildren; & one sister -  Virginia (Don) Orloff of Chicago, IL.

No services are scheduled.  Private interment will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Livingston, IL.
