Diana G. Stern

Diana G. Stern, 81, of Staunton, Illinois, passed away at 2:05 PM on Monday, October 2, 2023 at Staunton Health & Rehab Center in Staunton, Illinois.  She was born September 28, 1942 in St. Louis, Missouri, the daughter of the late Jack & Anita J. (Owen) Stern.  She was previously married to Bernie Hannig.

She was employed as a Secretary for Bernie Hannig Construction, Inc. in Staunton, IL for many years.  She later worked as a Secretary for Heritage Bible Church in Largo, Florida for 20 years.  She graduated from Florissant High School in Florissant, MO, & enjoyed reading & traveling.

Diana is survived by her son -  Craig (Vicky) Hannig of Staunton, IL;  a granddaughter -  Della Hannig;  a grandson -  Logan Hannig;  a sister -  Sally;  & two nieces also survive.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister -  Susan Stern.

Graveside services will be held at 11 AM on Friday, October 6, 2023 at Memorial Park Cemetery in Staunton, Illinois, with Rev. Debbie Jo Atkins officiating.
