Dawn Favre Obituary

Dawn Jo Favre, 60, of Staunton, IL, passed away at 10:18 PM on Thursday, February 20, 2025 at the Warren G. Murray Center in Centralia, IL. She was born December 20, 1964 in Staunton, IL, the daughter of the late William "Bill" & Pauline (Allen) Favre.

Dawn excelled in the Special Olympics, attaining numerous medals. She graduated from Gillespie High School, Special Education Class of 1984.

She is survived by three brothers - Larry (Judy) Favre of Staunton, IL, Myron (Sheryl) Favre of Lakewood, CA, & Randy (Karen) Favre of Aumsville, OR; one sister - Judy (Carl) Johnson of Deland, FL; & several nieces, nephews, & cousins also survive.

Private services will be held at Williamson Funeral Home in Staunton, IL, with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery in Staunton, IL.

Memorials are suggested to the Special Olympics, 1318 Mercantile Drive, Regional J, Highland, IL 62249.
