Darvin Dean Hensley, 87, of Worden, IL, passed away at his residence on Wednesday, June 1, 2022. Born July 30, 1934, in Virden, IL, he was a son of the late James & Lois (Wiggins) Hensley. He married Marilyn (Wisnasky) Wieseman on October 24, 1987, at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Staunton, IL and she survives.
Darvin served in the U.S. Navy from 1954 – 1958. He worked as a Credit Manager for F.S. in Edwardsville, IL for many years. He was a member of the Madison County Farm Bureau and loved his farm.
He is survived by Wife - Marilyn Hensley of Worden, IL
1 son – Scott (Amy) Hensley of Roxana, IL
2 step-sons - Kenneth Wieseman (Tracey Gregg) of Worden, IL
David Wieseman of New Douglas, IL
2 step-daughters - Donna (Eugene) Hampton of Worden, IL
Mary (Kerry) Butcher of Worden, IL
3 grandchildren – Braydon Hensley, Patrick Wieneke, and Sydney Wieneke

Friends may call from 4-7 PM on Thursday, June 9, 2022, at Williamson Funeral Home in Staunton. A Memorial service will be held on Friday, June 10, 2022, at 10:30 AM at Williamson Funeral Home in Staunton with Father Tom Hagstrom officiating. The Bunker Hill American Legion will conduct military rites immediately following Darvin’s memorial service outside Williamson Funeral Home in Staunton. Interment will follow after military rites at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery near Bunker Hill, IL.
Memorials are suggested to either Prairietown Volunteer Fire Department, Staunton VFW Post #1241, or Adopt-a-Pet of Benld, IL.
