Darryl A. Miersch

Darryl A. Miersch, 72 of Staunton, IL died Sunday, December 1, 2019 at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, IL. Born April 22, 1947 in Sheboygan, WI, he was a son of the Late Mr. & Mrs. Arthur Miersch. He married Kathleen Binney on November 20, 1971 in Carlinville, Il and she survives. He worked at Jubelt’s Bakery in Mt. Olive, IL for many years and was a member of Worden Christian Church of Worden, IL.

He is survived by his wife, Kathleen Miersch of Staunton, IL; 1 son, Matthew (Lisa) Miersch of Staunton, IL; 2 grandsons, Blake & Logan Miersch of Staunton, IL; 1 sister, Vicki Simer of Gilbert, AZ. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

Friends may call from 9 to 11 AM on Thursday, December 5, 2019 at Worden Christian Church in Worden. Funeral services will follow at 11 AM at Worden Christian Church in Worden with Rev. Nathan Martin officiating. Burial will be held at Spangle Cemetery near Livingston, IL. Memorials are suggested to either Worden Christian Church of Worden or to Spangle Cemetery.
