Darrol L. "Butch" Daugherty

Darrol L. "Butch" Daugherty, 68, of Staunton, IL, passed away at 8:50 PM on Friday, January 2, 2026 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO.  He was born March 7, 1957 in Sullivan, IN, the son of the late Darrol M. & Miggie Sue (Land) Daugherty.

"Butch" was employed as an expeditor at McDonnell Douglas Corporation in St. Louis, MO for many years.

He is survived by two brothers -  Jeffrey A. (Julie) Daugherty of Godfrey, IL,  &  Thomas A. (Jennifer) Daugherty of Staunton, IL;  his step mother -  Myra Daugherty of Staunton, IL;  & several nieces & nephews also survive.

A "Celebration of Life" will be held from 11 AM to 5 PM on Sunday, January 18, 2026 at the Staunton VFW Hall.

Memorials are suggested to the charity of the donor's choice.
