Darrell Jacobs Obituary

Darrell Jacobs, 75, of Livingston, IL, passed away at 4:15 PM on Thursday, July 17, 2025 at Gateway Regional Medical Center in Granite City, IL. He was born November 6, 1949 in Litchfield, IL, the son of the late William & Vergie (Daniels) Jacobs. He married Denise Scoggins on September 20, 1974 in Edwardsville, IL & she survives.

Darrell was employed in the Maintenance Department at Gemini Industries in Roxana, IL, & was a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran. He enjoyed hunting & fishing.

He is survived by his wife - Denise Jacobs of Livingston, IL; two daughters - Diana Garner of Livingston, IL, & Debra (Jeffrey) Vega of Belleville, IL; three grandchildren - Michael Beatte, Dylan Beatte, & Kaylee Garner; one great grandchild - Lillianna Beatte; & one brother - Thomas (Kay) Jacobs of Oregon. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one granddaughter - Montana Garner.
