Cynthia "Cindy" (Smith) Burnett

Cynthia "Cindy" Burnett, 63, of Madison, Illinois passed away on Monday December 7, 2020 at her mothers home in Staunton, Illinois. 

She was born May 27, 1957 in Granite City, a daughter of Mary T. Smith (Bucherich) and the late Elmer F. Smith 

Cindy worked at the Venice Township up until her illness. 

In addition to her beloved mother, Cindy is survived by her partner Gary Burnett, two children James (Brad) Vaughn and Kristin Vaughn, two stepchildren Jessica Burnett and Adam (Morgan) Burnett, two step grandsons Lawson and Ledger Burnett, two sisters Kim (Steve) McCunney and Sandi Smith, two brothers David Smith and Chris(Karissa) Smith, and her nephews and nieces and great  nephews and great nieces.  

In addition to her beloved father, she was preceded in death by her grandparents Elmer H. and Pauline Smith and Steve and Mary Bucherich.
