Clara Marie (Senaldi) Mansholt

Clara Marie Mansholt, 94, of Staunton, Illinois, passed away at 8:40 PM on Monday, January 9, 2023 at Heritage Health in Staunton, Illinois.  She was born July 6, 1928, the daughter of the late Harry & Margaret (Zdlikofer) Senaldi.  She married Marcus A. Mansholt on December 20, 1958 in Mississippi & he passed away on July 14, 2017.

Clara was employed as a Cashier at Bill's IGA in Staunton, IL for many years.  She was also a UFCW member & loved spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by 1 son -  Rick (Sheila) Hainaut of Taylorville, IL;  1 daughter -  Gail Hainaut of Granite City, IL;  6 grandchildren -  Charis (Ryan) Lowis,  Melissa Hainaut,  Michelle Hainaut,  Michael (Allyson) Mansholt,  David (Alicia) Mansholt,  & Alecia (Eric) Whitlock;  9 great grandchildren -  Grady,  Hallie,  Sydney,  Kylee,  Kody,  Anna,  Carter,  Maren,  & Khris;  numerous nieces & nephews, & cousins also survive.  

Besides her husband & parents, she was preceded in death by 1 son -  Mark Mansholt;  1 daughter -  Terry Lynn Mansholt;  & 1 brother -  Joe Senaldi.

Friends may call from 10 AM to 12 noon on Thursday, January 19, 2023 at Williamson Funeral Home in Staunton.  Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Thursday, January 19, 2023 at Williamson Funeral Home in Staunton, with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery in Staunton, Illinois.  Memorials are suggested to Staunton VFW Post #1241.
