Charles A. "Charlie" Svetlik

Graveside services & burial were held on Friday, August 22, 2025 for Charles A. "Charlie" Svetlik, formerly of Staunton, at Memorial Park Cemetery in Staunton, IL, with Father Tom Hagstrom of St. Michael Catholic Church in Staunton, officiating.  Mr. Svetlik passed away at his home in Beaver Creek, Oregon on November 17, 2024.

Charlie was born December 21, 1934 to the late John & Mary (Yanus) Svetlik.  He was a 1953 graduate of Staunton High School & also served in the U.S. Navy.

He is survived by two daughters -  Debra & Geraldine;  a sister-in-law -  Joan Svetlik;  along with numerous nieces, nephews, & cousins.  Besides his parents. he was preceded in death by three brothers -  William,  John Jr.,  &  Gerald Svetlik;  & a sister-in-law -  Eleanor Svetlik.

Arrangements were handled by Williamson Funeral Home in Staunton, IL.
