Carol (Karlovic) Anschutz

Carol Anschutz, 87, of Staunton, IL, passed away at 8:00 PM on Saturday, September 14, 2024 at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, IL.  She was born September 16, 1936 in Litchfield, IL, the daughter of the late John "Buck" & Olivia (Fanti) Karlovic.  She married Dean L. Anschutz in September of 1954 at St. Michael Catholic Church in Staunton, IL & he passed away on March 6, 2024.

Carol was a teacher at Hamel Elementary School in Hamel, IL for many years.  She loved her job, & had a passion for teaching!

She was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church in Staunton, IL, & the Staunton Country Club.  She loved travelling & shopping with Carole & Sandra!

Carol is survived by three daughters -  Rita (James) Euler of Staunton, IL,  K. Renee (Bruce) Goodnick of Sebring, FL,  &  Jan (Tim) Fritzsche of Edwardsville, IL;  six grandchildren -  Elizabeth Goodnick (Alex Hughes) of Denver, CO,  Benjamin (Karoline) Goodnick of Lisle, IL,  Christopher (Ashley) Euler of Springfield, IL,  Kevin (Melissa) Euler of Maryville, IL,  Alicia Euler of Staunton, IL,  &  Michael Fritzsche of Edwardsville, IL;  six great grandchildren -  Olivia Goodnick,  Aiden Euler,  Grace Goodnick,  Henry Euler,  Nora Euler,  &  Noelle Euler;  "sisters from another mother & father" -  Carole Wall &  Sandra Bond of Staunton, IL.

Friends may call from 10 to 11 AM on Monday, September 23, 2024 at St. Michael Catholic Church in Staunton, IL.  Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Monday, September 23, 2024 at St. Michael Catholic Church in Staunton, IL, with Rev. Thomas Hagstrom officiating.  Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery - Staunton, IL.
