Bill Dittmar, 66, of Worden, IL passed away Tuesday, March 1, 2022, at Christian Northeast Hospital in St. Louis, MO. Born September 6, 1955, in St. Louis, MO, he was a son of the late Mr. & Mrs. William & Yvonne (Farran) Dittmar. He married Marci Stoll on June 6, 1981, and she survives. He was the owner of Performance Pipe in Worden, IL. Bill was a member of the Edwardsville Moose Lodge # 1561 in Edwardsville, IL and a retired member of the Worden Volunteer Fire Department. Bill enjoyed watching NASCAR on Sundays with friends.
He is survived his wife, Marci Dittmar of Worden, IL, a daughter, Shelby Dittmar (Lori Rebholz) of San Diego, CA, 5 siblings, Michelle, Leslie, Mike, Terry, and Grant. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 son, Billy Dittmar and 1 brother, Glenn Dittmar.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 PM on Monday, March 7, 2022, at Williamson Funeral Home in Staunton. Family and friends should dress casual for services. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, March 8, 2022, at 10 AM at Worden City Cemetery in Worden, IL. Memorials are suggested to either Worden Volunteer Fire Department or to Backstoppers.
