Betty Lou (Camp) Garde

Betty Lou Garde, 78, of Staunton, IL, passed away at 1:03 AM on Wednesday, January 29, 2025 at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, IL.  She was born October 23, 1946 in Bonnie, IL, the daughter of the late Roy & Helen (Albrecht) Camp.  She married Lloyd R. Garde on November 12, 1966 in Staunton, IL & he survives.

Betty was a self-employed beautician for over thirty years.  She was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church in Staunton, IL.  She liked to paint, doing arts & crafts, & bowling....& she loved spending time with her grandchildren & her great grandchild.  She was a resident of Hitz Memorial Home in Alhambra, IL for the past two & a half years.

Betty is survived by her husband -  Lloyd R. Garde of Staunton, IL;  two daughters -  Tammy Garde of Staunton, IL,  &  Tina (Chad) Morris of Edwardsville, IL;  four grandchildren -  Alexandrea (Andrew) Lesicko of Worden, IL,  &  Corinne, Lillian, & Evelynn Morris of Edwardsville, IL;  one great grandson -  Beau Garde-Lesicko of Worden, IL;  one sister -  Judy Blom of Alhambra, IL;  & several nieces also survive.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother -  Skip Camp.

Friends may call from 9 to 11 AM on Monday, February 3, 2025 at Williamson Funeral Home in Staunton, IL.  Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Monday, February 3, 2025 at Williamson Funeral Home in Staunton, IL, with burial to follow in St. Mary's Cemetery near Bunker Hill, IL.
