Bandy M. Eller, 70, of Staunton, Illinois, passed away at 5:11 PM on Friday, January 27, 2023 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. She was born June 26, 1952 in Litchfield, Illinois, the daughter of the late Richard U. Eller Sr. & the late Norma J. (Colbert) Mahanay.
She retired as a Shipping Manager from Duke Manufacturing in St. Louis, Missouri after working there for over 15 years. Bandy also served in the U.S. Army from 1976 to 1978.
She was the best mother & sister that anyone could have. Bandy was one of the top runners on the track team in high school, was an avid fast-pitch softball player, & an avid watcher of the College World Series.
She is survived by her cherished daughter - Rose Sarah Marie Eller (Dalton Baugh) of Edwardsville, IL; her brothers & sisters - Richard U. (Arlene) Eller Jr. of Staunton, IL, Andy L. Eller (Laurie Avery) of Virginia, Charlotte L. (Marvin) Dunmire of Staunton, IL, David G. (Debra) Eller of Raymore, MO, Helen D. Brown (Kathy Marquis) of Alton, IL, & Theresa F. Taylor (Lester Hahn); a half brother - Brian P.E. Mahanay of Hartford, IL; two step sisters - Debbie Mahanay of East Alton, IL, & Candice Mahanay of O'Fallon, MO; many nieces & nephews also survive.
A Memorial Visitation will be held on Friday, February 3, 2023 from 5 to 8 PM at Williamson Funeral Home in Staunton, Illinois. Memorials are suggested to the charity of the donor's choice.
