Alvera W. (Hambleton) Conroy

Alvera W. Conroy, 101, of Staunton, IL passed away Thursday, June 16, 2022, at Heritage Health in Staunton, IL. Born August 14, 1920, in Edwardsville, IL, she was a daughter of the late Mark & Olinda (Gusewelle) Hambleton. She married Denver Conroy and hen passed away in February of 1979. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church of Staunton, IL.

She is survived by 1 Son -Alan Conroy (Doris Knop) – Staunton, Illinois, 4 Grandchildren - Nicole (Ty) Bowser – Troy, Illinois, Amanda (Rick) Garbin – Staunton, Illinois, Denny Conroy – Staunton, Illinois, Whitney (Tony) DalPozzo – Staunton, Illinois, 3 Great Grandchildren - Camden & Chloe Bowser, Ryker DalPozzo, 2 Sisters - Gladys Suhrenbrock – Staunton, Illinois, and Doris Schmidt.

Besides her husband & parents, she was preceded in death by – 1 Sister - Helen Kuba and 2 Brothers -Orville & Eldon Hambleton.

Private graveside services will be held on Monday, June 27, 2022, at Memorial Park Cemetery in Staunton, IL. Memorials are suggested to Staunton Helping Hands Center.
