My heartfelt sympathies to all of you in this difficult time. As impressive as Tom's obituary is, his life to all of you was 100 times what is printed. What an awesome Husband, Dad, mentor, coach, co-worker, friend and good caring person he was. I hope the many memories you all have of him carry you through this difficult time. Heartfelt condolences to Tom's family. I worked at the Litchfield Post Office while he was supervisor there. Tom was always cheery, a smile and fun comment every day. So very saddened that he has passed.

My deepest condolences to all of you. Tom was a childhood friend of mine and a friendship I always cherished. Although I seemed to lose contact with Tom over the years since my family's move to Alabama, on my return visits to Staunton I would sometimes see him in town. Tom never seemed to change, always out-going, friendly and quick to share a story with me. I was even fortunate enough to play a round of golf with him at the SCC on one of my visits. What a great time we had, talking about the "old days" playing ball together and even sharing stories of our families. Tom was truly "one of the good guys" in this world and I know he will be truly missed.
My thoughts and prayers are with all of you in this very difficult time.
