Robert L. McMahon

Robert L. McMahon 81, of Staunton, Illinois passed away at Heritage Health in Staunton on Tuesday, September 25, 2018. Born September 7, 1937 in McLeansboro, Illinois, he was a son of the Late Mr. & Mrs. Henderson & Rella (Vickers) McMahon. He married Dorothy M. Miller on October 11, 1958 in Georgia and she passed away on April 27, 2016. He was the Owner/Operator of McMahon Construction Company in Staunton for many years. Previously he had worked in the railroad industry. Robert was a member of the Staunton Lions Club.

He is survived by 1 Daughter, Marlene (Butch) Krivi of Staunton, IL; 4 Grandchildren, Heather (Bryan) Ondes, Katie (David) Bodner, John (Emily) Krivi, and Brittany Osborne; 3 Great grandchildren, Dalton Ondes, Summer McMahon, and Andrew Osborne. Besides his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by 1 Son, Tom McMahon; 1 Great Granddaughter, Natalea Ondes; 3 Sisters and 3 Brothers.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 PM on Monday at Williamson Funeral in Staunton. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Williamson Funeral Home in Staunton with Rev. Debbie Jo Atkins officiating. Interment will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery in Staunton. Memorials are suggested to either the family or to Memorial Park Cemetery of Staunton.
