Randy Lee Cox

Randy Lee Cox, 65 of Staunton, Illinois passed away Monday, January 22, 2018 at his residence in Staunton. Born August 29, 1952 in Wood River, Illinois, he was a son of the late Ann (Blair) Cox and Les Cox. He worked as a utility lineman at Ameren Illinois Power in Mt. Clare, IL. He was a member of the IBEW #309 in Collinsville, IL. Randy was an avid St. Louis Cardinals Baseball fan.

He is survived by 2 daughters, Abby (Lance) Dillon of Staunton, IL; Amanda (Darren) Bianco of Staunton, IL; 6 grandchildren, Avery, Jacob, and Lucas Dillon of Staunton, IL; Griffin, Dalton, and Gianna Bianco of Staunton, IL; father, Les Cox of Mt. Clare, IL; ex -wife, Deborah Rae (Genetti) Cox of Gillespie, IL; 5 siblings, Connie (Merl) Collins, Karen Ogden, Rick (Pat) Cox, Cathy Cox, and Roger Cox. Many nieces and nephews also survive. Besides his mother, he was preceded in death by 1 brother, Michael Cox.

No services are scheduled at this time. Memorials are suggested to either St. Louis Cardinals Care or to the Staunton Education Foundation.
