Peggy Lynn (Colley) Clark

Peggy Lynn Clark, 63 of Staunton, IL died Monday, December 2, 2019 at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, IL. Born November 21, 1956 in Alton, IL, she was a daughter of the Late Mr. & Mrs. Thomas B. Colley. Peggy was the Owner & Operator of Moore’s Barber Shop in Staunton for many years. She also was a licensed teacher at Lincoln Barber College in Moline, IL. She also cut hair at Williamson Funeral Home, The Glenwood, and Heritage Health in Staunton. She enjoyed fishing, painting, arts & crafts, and was very creative. She will be missed by many friends, family, and patrons whose lives were touched by her.

She is survived by 2 Sons, Steven (Sarah) Clark of St. Louis, Missouri and Jason Clark of Mt. Morris, Illinois; 6 Siblings, Johnny (Connie) Colley of Staunton, Illinois; Patty (Don) Stefani of Staunton, Illinois; Lonnie (Connie) Colley of Staunton, Illinois; Penny (Todd) Ambuel of Edwardsville, Illinois; Pam Colley of Cadiz, Kentucky; Cheryl Colley of Staunton, Illinois. Numerous Nieces & Nephews & Great Nieces & Great Nephews also survive. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by 1 Brother, Thomas Colley; 1 Great Niece, Leah Borgic; 1 Great Nephew, David Vaughn.

A “Celebration of Life” will be held on Sunday, December 8, 2019 from 1 to 5 PM at the Staunton VFW Hall. Memorials are suggested to the family.
