Leota (Jackson) Painter

Leota I. Painter 82, of Staunton, Illinois passed away at Heritage Health in Gillespie, Illinois on Thursday, April 4, 2019. Born October 20, 1936 in St. Louis, Missouri she was daughter to the Late Mr. & Mrs. Willard Jackson Sr. She married Robert Painter & he passed away on April 7, 2005. She cooked in the Cafeteria at the Staunton Unit Schools in Staunton, Illinois for 24 years. A member of Cornerstone Ministries in Benld, Illinois, and the Staunton Lions Club. Memorial Services will be held later. Interment of Cremains in Memorial Park Cemetery in Staunton, Illinois.

Leota is survived by her Daughter, Peggy Painter of Staunton, Illinois; and Son, Karl Painter of Staunton, Illinois. Besides her husband & parents, Leota was preceded in death by a Granddaughter, Angela K. Pace and 1 Brother, Willard Jackson Jr.
