Karen M. (Anderson) Walker

Karen M. Walker, 83 of rural Worden, Illinois passed away at her residence on Tuesday, July 31, 2018. Born November 15, 1934 in Granite City, Illinois, she was a daughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. John & Kathryn (Clure) Anderson. She married Harry W. Walker in Granite City on August 8, 1959 and he passed away on July 14, 2017. She worked as an Insurance Underwriter for Vinsa & Associates in Lancaster, CA.

She is survived by 1 Son, William A.D. Walker of California; 1 Daughter, Zoe Hauprich of Worden, IL; 4 Grandchildren, William Walker, Kathryn Walker, Andrew Hauprich, and Deidre Martinez; 4 great grandchildren and 2 daughter-in-laws. Besides her husband and parents, Karen was preceded in death by 2 Sons, Harry John Walker and Kevin McLeod Walker.

Friends may call from 9 to 11 AM on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at Williamson Funeral Home in Staunton. Graveside services will be held at 1:45 PM Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, Missouri. Memorials are suggested to K-9 for Warriors.
