Elva M. Brown, 92 of Staunton, IL passed away Thursday, April 13, 2017 at Shelbyville Manor in Shelbyville, IL. Born February 22, 1925 in Mt. Olive, IL, she was a daughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. Frank T. Folkerts. She married Kenneth W. Brown in November of 1946 in Mt. Olive, IL and he survives. She was a homemaker. Elva graduated from Mt. Olive High School in 1943. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Staunton and the Staunton Junior Service Club. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth W. Brown of Staunton, IL; 1 son, Tom (Carol) Brown of Shelbyville, IL; 3 grandchildren, Mark (Carrie) Brown, Justin Boni, Patrick (Renee) Boni; 4 great grandchildren, Ross & Madison Brown, Ryken & McKinna Boni. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by 1 daughter, Kim Boni; 5 brothers, and 1 sister.

Friends may call from 10 AM until time of service (12 noon) on Monday, April 17, 2017 at Williamson Funeral Home in Staunton with Rev. Gail Joyner officiating. Burial will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery in Staunton. Memorials are suggested to the First United Methodist Church of Staunton.
