Elizabeth A. (Szymanski) Pass

Elizabeth A. Pass, 93 of Staunton, IL passed away Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at Heritage Health in Staunton. Born June 28, 1925 in Wilmington, DE, she was a daughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. Casimir and Zofa (Arciszeroska) Szymanski. She married Charlie Pass on October 3, 1943 in Wilmington, DE and he passed away on November 16, 2004. Elizabeth cleaned houses, cleaned at St. Michael’s Rectory and volunteered at St. Michael’s Church office. She was a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church of Staunton.

She is survived by 2 Daughters, Caroline Strasen of Staunton, IL & Linda (Herb) Sievers of Staunton, IL; 8 Grandchildren, David (Carmen) Ivey, Donald Ivey, Charles Ivey, Darla (Rick) Wall, Doyle Ivey, Mark (Katrina) Sievers, Angie (Lige) Daley, & Missy (Brad) Griffith; 17 Great Grandchildren & 2 Great Great Grandchildren; 1 Sister, Irene (Alfred) Zaborowski of Wilmington, DE. Many nieces and nephews also survive. Beside her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 2 Brothers, Henry & Barney; 2 Sisters, Stella & Virginia.

Friends may call from 9 to 11 AM on Monday, February 18, 2019 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Staunton. Funeral services will follow at 11 AM at St. Michael’s Catholic Church with Father George Radosevich officiating. Burial will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery in Staunton. Memorials are suggested to St. Michael’s Catholic Church of Staunton, Heartland Hospice, or to the Charity of the Donor’s Choice.
