Edward O. "Bud" Provost

Edward O. “Bud” Provost, 74 of Staunton, IL died Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, IL. Born February 3, 1944 in Chicago, IL, he was the son of the Late Mr. & Mrs. Edward B. & Marie E. (Koske) Provost. He married Donna Nardin on July 15, 1972 in Chicago, IL and she survives. “Bud” was a proud small business owner of J & B Automotive in Riverdale, IL. He loved his family and friends dearly. He was an avid golfer, fisherman, and a die-hard Chicago Bears fan.

He is survived by his wife, Donna Provost of Staunton, IL; 3 Children, Darryl (Sue) Pena of St. John, IN, Michael (Tina) Pena of Schererville, IN, and Kristie Provost (Tim) Gorman of Lake Forest, IL; 9 Grandchildren, Kyle, Paige, Dante, Lucas, Ashtyn, Jeff, Brandon, Jess, and Sarah; 1 Sister, Judy (Joe) Wright of Seymour, TN; 1 Brother-in-law, Tom (Barb) Nardin of Calgary, Canada, and Mother-in-law, Doris Nardin of Staunton, IL. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his Father-in-law, Dante Nardin and his Uncle George Koske.

Friends may call from 9-12 noon on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at Williamson Funeral Home in Staunton. A Memorial Service will follow at 12 noon at Williamson Funeral Home in Staunton with Father George Radosevich officiating.
