Dorothy “Jean” Lotter, 85 of Staunton, Illinois died Sunday, October 6, 2019 at The Villas in Sherman, Illinois. Born September 29, 1934 in Devil’s Lake, North Dakota, she was a Daughter of the Late Mr. & Mrs. John & Alva (McDonald) Pringle. She married David H. “Bud” Lotter in June of 1953, and he died on April 24, 2018. She was a homemaker and a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Staunton, IL.
She is survived by 3 Daughters, Pamela Lotter of Riverton, IL; Kathy Lotter of Staunton, IL; and Susan Fitzpatrick of Pensacola, FL; 3 Grandsons, Dustin (Ashley) Sanks of Staunton, IL; Bryan Crawford of Riverton, IL; and Bobby Fitzpatrick of Pensacola, FL; 3 Great Grandsons, Austin & Nolan Sanks of Staunton, IL and Bryson Crawford of Pekin, IL; and 1 Brother, Jack Pringle of Anacortes, WA. Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her Stepfather, Arthur Erickson and 1 Brother, Robert Pringle.
Friends may call from 9 to 11 AM on Friday, October 11, 2019 at Zion Lutheran Church in Staunton. Funeral services will follow at 11 AM at Zion Lutheran Church in Staunton with Rev. Kelly Mitteis officiating. Burial will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery in Staunton. Memorials are suggested to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or to the Stray Rescue Foundation.
