Donald E. Reitmeyer

Donald E. Reitmeyer, 71 of Staunton, IL passed away Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at Community Memorial Hospital in Staunton. Born June 28, 1947 in St. Louis, MO, he was a son of the late Mr. & Mrs. Edward Reitmeyer. Don served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War and was a lifetime member of the Staunton VFW Post # 1241. He worked as a Welder at Tower Automotive in Granite City, IL for many years.

He is survived by 2 Children, Edward (Rachel) Reitmeyer of Staunton, IL and Phyllis Reitmeyer of Staunton, IL; 4 Grandchildren, Madisyn, Taylor, Colton, and Preston; 2 Brothers, Bob Reitmeyer of St. Louis, MO and Dan Reitmeyer of Missouri; 1 Sister, Nancy (Tom) Schirmer of Wentzville, MO.

No services are scheduled. His cremains will be interred at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, MO at a later date.
