Dalton J. Best, 26, of Staunton, Illinois passed Thursday, September 12, 2019 in St. Louis, MO. Born August 12, 1993 in Alton, IL, he was a son of Mr. & Mrs. Denny & Rebecca (Painter) Best. Dalton was confirmed at Zion Lutheran Church in Staunton. He graduated from Staunton High School Class of 2011. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his parents, Denny & Rebecca Best of Staunton; 1 Sister, Kelly (James) Christian; 3 Brothers, Owen Best, Ben (Alissa) Best, Charlie (Stacy) Best; Numerous Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins also survive. He was preceded in death by his Paternal Grandparents, Wray & Carol Best and Maternal Grandparents, John & Marlene Painter.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 PM on Tuesday at Williamson Funeral Home in Staunton. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Williamson Funeral Home in Staunton. Burial will be held at Worden City Cemetery in Worden. Memorials are suggested to Gateway Foundation for Alcohol & Drug Treatment Center in Jacksonville, IL or The Family.
