Betty Louise (Brown) Ryan

Betty Louise Ryan, 72 of Granite City, Illinois passed away at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO on Wednesday, September 12, 2018. Born October 11, 1945 in East St. Louis, IL, she was a daughter of the Late Mr. & Mrs. Arthur L. Brown. She married Glenn Edgar Ryan on October 24, 1960 and he survives. She worked as a Cashier at Burger King in Granite City, IL. Betty enjoyed spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband, Glenn Ryan of Granite City, IL; 3 Children, Steven (Dianna) Ryan of Granite City, IL; Theresa (Tommie) Sanders of Mt. Olive, IL; and Matthew (Kimberly) Ryan of Collinsville, IL; 8 Grandchildren, Tamara (Michael) Robinson of Staunton, IL; Samantha (Michael) Tudor of Greenville, IL; Thomas Sanders of Granite City, IL; Brandon Ryan of Georgia; Matthew (Amy) Ryan of Granite City, IL; Kirsten Ryan of Collinsville, IL; Nolan Ryan of Granite City, IL; Joseph Ryan of Granite City, IL; 3 Great Grandchildren; 2 Sisters, Jacquie (Jack) Reid of Oklahoma and JoEllen Thompson of Oklahoma. Numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by 1 Granddaughter, Brianna Ryan and 1 Sister, Sharon Walker.

Friends may call from 10 AM to 12 noon on Tuesday at Williamson Funeral Home in Staunton. Funeral services will follow at 12 noon at Williamson Funeral Home in Staunton with Rev. Ron Johnson officiating. Burial will be held at Mt. Olive City Cemetery in Mt. Olive, IL. Memorials are suggested to the American Diabetes Association.
