Betty Monti Obituary

Betty J. Monti, 80 of Staunton, Illinois died Sunday, October 20, 2019 at Heritage Health in Staunton. Born September 23, 1939 in Staunton, she was a daughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. James Fletcher. She married Anthony D. “Tony” Monti on April 2, 1960 in Benld, Illinois and he passed away on October 31, 1996. Betty was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Staunton.

She is survived by 1 Daughter, Terri Monti of Staunton, IL; 2 Grandsons, Bobby Wiggington of Florida and Andrew Zenner of Staunton, IL. Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 1 Daughter, Tammy Wiggington; 1 Sister, Phyllis Stewart; and 2 Brothers, Stephen Fletcher & Delmar Fletcher.

Private interment will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery in Staunton, Illinois later.
