Wanda F. Warfield, 70 of Staunton, Illinois passed away Sunday, December 24, 2017 at her residence in Staunton. Born March 17, 1947 in Palmyra, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. Robert and Sally (Hughes) Marable.  She married Buddy Gene Warfield on March 10, 1966 and he survives. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church of Alhambra, Illinois.

She is survived by husband, Buddy Gene Warfield of Staunton, IL; 1 son -  Tom Warfield of Wichita, KS

1 daughter – Tammy Strator of Staunton, IL; 2 stepsons –  Jeff (Mary) Warfield of O’Fallon, IL, Alan (Rita) Warfield of Pontoon Beach, IL; 7 grandchildren; 7 greatgrandchildren.

There will be no visitation. Private funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at Williamson Funeral Home in Staunton with Rev. Mark Gause officiating. Burial will be held at Salem Cemetery in Alhambra, Illinois. Memorials are suggested to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
