Stanley A. Ciochon, 99 of Staunton, IL passed away Sunday, June 25, 2017 at Community Memorial Hospital in Staunton, IL. He was born on October 25, 1917. He married Mary Duda on March 7, 1942 in Chicago, IL and she passed away on October 28, 1993. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church of Staunton; Staunton Knights of Columbus # 2197. Stanley was a very active volunteer for St. Michael’s Church and Community Memorial Hospital of Staunton.

He is survived by 2 step-grandchildren, Allen (Amy) Musikantow of Ocala, FL and Marcella Saltz of Palm Desert, CA; many step-great grandchildren and step- great great grandchildren; 1 niece, Helen Rademacher of Mt. Olive, IL; 2 nephews, Ray (Anita) Duda of Staunton, IL and Mr. & Mrs. Melvin Duda of central, IL; 1 great nephew, Jay (Denise) Rademacher of Mt. Olive, IL.

Stanley donated his body to Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, MO. A memorial service will be held later. Memorials are suggested to St. Michael’s Catholic Church of Staunton, Community Memorial Hospital of Staunton, or to Staunton Knights of Columbus #2197.
