Mary Ann Odorizzi, 98 of Staunton, Illinois passed away Sunday, January 14, 2018 at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, Illinois. Born July 28, 1919 in Sawyerville, Illinois, she was a daughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. Pete Boston. She married Joe Odorizzi on October 25, 1947 in Benld, Illinois and he passed away on June 17, 1998. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church of Staunton. Mary was a current resident of Liberty Village in Maryville, Illinois and a previous resident of The Glenwood in Staunton, Illinois. Mary was also an avid Cardinals fan.

She is survived by 1 granddaughter, Sarah Beth Claytor of Chillicothe, MO; Sarah’s Father, Steve (Lisa) Claytor of Troy, IL; Sarah’s Stepbrother, Jake Mull of Springfield, IL. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 1 daughter, Kathy Claytor; 3 sisters, Bertha Schuster Shermer, Dorothy Tiona, and Theresa Young; 1 brother, Pete Boston.

Friends may call from 9 to 10 AM on Friday, January 19, 2018 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Staunton. A funeral mass will follow at 10 AM at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Staunton with rev. George Radosevich officiating. Burial will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery in Staunton. Memorials are suggested to St. Michael’s Catholic Church of Staunton.
