Gregory Lee Schrage, 70, of Worden, Illinois passed away Monday, October 3, 2016 at his residence in Worden, Illinois. Born January 17, 1946 in Illinois, he was a son of the late Mr. & Mrs. Richard Schrage. He married Gloria Jean Ashauer on June 20, 1964 at the Lutheran Church in Carpenter, Illinois and she survives. He worked at Richards Brick Yard in Edwardsville, Illinois for many years. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Worden, Illinois. Greg loved to deer hunt, fish, and watch “Sanford & Son.”

He is survived by his wife, Gloria Jean Schrage of Worden, IL; 1 daughter, Susan Schrage of Edwardsville, IL; 1 son, Kevin Schrage; 3 grandchildren, Gregory Renfrow, Joshua Renfrow, and Sabrina Keplinger; 1 brother, Joe Schrage of Granite City, IL. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Dick, Wayne, and Curtis Schrage.

There will be no visitation. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date. Interment of cremains will be held at The Lutheran Cemetery in Carpenter, IL. Memorials are suggested to the charity of the donor’s choice.
