Florence May Wohlert, 95 of Gillsepie, IL (formerly of Worden) passed away Friday, February 10, 2017 at Heritage Health in Gillsepie, IL. Born January 3, 1922 in Worden, IL she was a daughter of the Late Mr. & Mrs. Charles & Flora (Garner) Heinemeier. She married Ralph “Ben” Wohlert on June 18, 1940. Florence was a homemaker and later worked at the Alton Mental Health Center in Alton, IL where she would later retire. She was a member of the Worden United Methodist Church and the Staunton Eastern Star.

She is survived by 1 Son, Larry (Sue) Wohlert of Lantana, FL; 1 Daughter, Pam (Gary) Link of Gillespie, IL; 8 Grandchildren; 17 Great Grandchildren; 9 Great-Great Grandchildren. Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 1 Sister, Lillian Clardy; and her Twin Brother, Lawrence Heinemeier.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at 1:30 PM at Worden City Cemetery with Rev. Ray Radae officiating.
