Betty Dour, 85, of Staunton, Illinois passed away Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at her residence in Staunton, Illinois. Born January 26, 1931 in East St. Louis, Illinois, she was a daughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. Harold Hannigan. She married Edward L. Dour on May 15, 1948 at St. Martin of Tour in Washington Park, Illinois and he passed away on March 29, 2013. She was the owner/operator of the R Corner in Staunton for many years. She was previously the owner/operator of the Red Feather in Washington Park, Illinois. Betty would like to say “Thank You” to Dr. Mathur and Dr. Jain for being so kind. Also, “Thank You” to Jack, Mary Beth, and Jackie.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Diane (Matthew) Hartman of Ottawa, IL and Lisa (David) Leonard of Collinsville, IL; 3 grandchildren, Nicole (Christopher) Lang of Okinawa, Japan and Matthew & Jason Hartman; 2 great grandchildren, Ciara & Josie Lang. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Joseph & William Hannigan; 3 sisters, Delores Selliers, Margaret Kirby, and Patricia Hannigan.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, October 17, 2016 at 11:15 AM at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, MO.
